Cindy L. Dickinson Cindy attended Brock University in St. Catharines where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree (with distinction) in Political Science/Administrative Studies in 1990. Cindy received her Bachelor of Laws degree in 1993 from the University of Windsor. She was the recipient of the John H. Rodd Award for Conflicts and the Robert H. Wilson Memorial Award. Cindy was called to the Bar in 1995. In 1995, Cindy was one of three Ontario lawyers who received the Harold G. Fox Education Fund Scholarship. She spent one year as a barrister’s pupil at Middle Temple, Inns of Court in London, England. Cindy’s practice involves civil litigation including all aspects of insurance law, personal injury, occupier’s liability, professional negligence, municipal liability, and employment law, including wrongful dismissal claims, human rights complaints and contract disputes. Cindy is certified as an arbitrator by the Arbitration and Mediation Institute of Ontario. Cindy is a member of the Waterloo and Ontario Bar Associations, the Canadian Defence Lawyers organization and the Arbitration & Mediation Institute of Ontario. She is currently working towards her designation as a Certified Risk Manager. Currently, Cindy serves on the Board of Directors for Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region. She is past Board member for the Kitchener-Grand River Rotary Club. Cindy and her husband reside in Baden. They are members of the IAOC – the International Amphicar Owners Club.
