Kim A. Farrington
Kim attended McMaster University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, in English in 1999. While at McMaster University, she received the Patricia M. Syme Award and the Aaron Prize for highest standing in her program. She attended the University of Western Ontario where she received her Bachelor of Laws in 2002. She was called to the bar in Ontario in July, 2003.
In November, 2009, after six years of practice in insurance defence and employment litigation in Hamilton, Kim joined the firm as an associate in the litigation department. Kim practices civil litigation including insurance law, personal injury, occupier’s liability, professional negligence, municipal liability and employment law.
Kim is a member of the Canadian Defence Lawyers Association. She is also a part-time instructor at Sheridan Technical Institute, in the School of Business, teaching marketing law and ethics.
Outside of law, Kim is a Girl Guides Leader. Her other interests include skiing, golfing and spending time with family and friends.
