Amanda grew up in Waterdown, Ontario. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2013 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts and Business degree in Sociology. She then attended the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and received her Juris Doctor in 2017. While at Dalhousie, Amanda volunteered with the Canadian Association of Refugee Lawyers, the Schulich School of Law Community Outreach Organization, and with Pro Bono Students Canada in partnership with the Elizabeth Fry Society, creating a Human Rights handbook for female inmates. She also completed a placement at Dalhousie’s Legal Aid office in the North End of Halifax, providing legal services to low income clients.


Amanda joined the firm in 2017 as an Articling Student and is excited to explore the various areas of law in which she is interested, including Civil Litigation, Estate Litigation, Real Estate Law, and Estate Planning, among others. She is a member of the Waterloo Region Law Association.

 

In her spare time Amanda enjoys discovering the local arts scene, playing piano, spending time with family and friends, and travelling. She is an avid theatre, hip-hop, and red wine enthusiast.
