Wills Assistant

 

We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant for our Wills and Estates Team.

 

Job responsibilities will include:

 

  • assist in drafting and proofreading wills and other estate planning documents
  • scheduling client appointments with clients and in lawyers' Outlook calendars
  • assist with preparing and filing Certificate of Appointment documents with the Court
  • file management including opening files, preparing correspondence and invoices, saving emails and correspondence to electronic file, and closing files

 

Familiarity with eState software, Microsoft Office, and legal accounting program such as PCLaw or LEAP is an asset.
