Bailee is returning to Giffen as a Junior Associate in the firm’s family law department following the completion of her articles with the firm.
She earned her Dual Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy. Bailee also holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours from the University of Guelph in Criminal Justice and Public Policy, where she completed an academic exchange at the University of Canberra in Australia. She further obtained a Paralegal Diploma from Mohawk College.
During law school, Bailee was actively involved in advocacy and client service. She served as a Student Attorney at the Federal Pro Se Legal Assistance Clinic in Detroit, assisted with post‑conviction innocence investigations at the Michigan Attorney General’s Conviction Integrity Unit, and worked as a senior caseworker with Community Legal Aid in Windsor, where she regularly appeared in court and supported clients through criminal matters.
Outside of her legal practice, Bailee enjoys travelling, reading, going to hot yoga, spending time with her husband Chase, and caring for her two Australian Shepherds.
