Juliana is an associate in the Giffen LLP corporate/commercial team, having experience working with a multinational automation company before joining the firm. Juliana earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph but returned to Waterloo Region after completing her education.
Her practice is focused on corporate and commercial matters, including financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate work. In addition, she assists clients with estate planning, which includes wills, powers of attorney and the creation of trusts, as well as estate and trust administration and residential and commercial real estate transactions. Juliana brings hands‑on experience working with technology, manufacturing and service‑sector companies through her in‑house roles.
Juliana is proud to serve her community. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Waterloo Region Law Association. She was awarded the King Charles III Coronation Medal for her leadership in national education and research literacy initiatives.
