Jennifer was born and raised in Waterloo Region. She attended the University of Waterloo where she received her honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Legal Studies before obtaining her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. She was called to the Ontario bar in 2013.
Prior to joining Giffen lawyers, Jennifer was in private practice assisting with a broad range of legal matters and served as a per diem Assistant Crown Attorney. Her background in both private practice and prosecution has strengthened her advocacy, legal research and alternative dispute resolution skills enabling her to effectively manage complex matters while maintaining a client-focused approach.
Jennifer is part of the Giffen LLP litigation team. Primarily practicing with corporate/commercial litigation, employment law and wills & estates. She is committed to providing practical, results-oriented legal advice and works closely with clients to help them navigate legal challenges with confidence and clarity.
Jennifer is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Waterloo Region Law Association and is a long-standing member of the board of directors for a local childcare organization.
Outside of her practice, Jennifer enjoys travelling, photography and spending time outdoors with her family.
